WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT

Critical Confidence
Kids won't enforce boundaries that they can't back up. We teach them the tools to handle a physical altercation, and the confidence to avoid them.

Fighting Fire with Water
Most martial arts focus on punches and kicks. We focus on purely defensive techniques that range from verbal boundary setting to leverage based holds and controls.

Playful Learning
Jiu-Jitsu is all about play! In Gracie Bullyproof, kids gain discipline, control, and focus through fun games and positive reinforcement from our expert instructors.

Michael Palin

Hi there, I am Nathan Thorne and I am a proud member of Gracie Jiu-jitsu® Fourways.
My Martial Arts experience started by chance, after attending a Martial Arts event and I was hooked instantly. I was lucky enough to find Gracie Jiu-jitsu® Fourways and made Martial Arts as a part of my life. Since the first day at the academy, I knew that I wanted to be part of the Gracie Jiu-jitsu® family and become a Certified Instructor. I love to assist the students young and old on their journey to black belt!
I have become a highly rated competition participant and I have won many grappling tournaments in my weight division and in absolute division. I also assist with the competition classes where by students that wants to compete are trained and learning more about tourments. I am the Gracie Team Captain.
